Astropad Mini can be downloaded from the Apple App Store now. The shortcuts are customizable, so you can assign your favorite functions. You can use shortcuts, such as zooming or to undo an action, from the watch. Apple Watch support is another new feature in Astropad Mini. Alternatively, you can use your fingers to pinch-zoom or edit on the iPhone screen. The system is compatible with a range of pressure sensitive styluses by brands such as Adonit, Wacom, Pogo or Hex3. Alternatively, computer and phone can be linked via a USB cable. Unfortunately Windows machines are still not supported. The system also delivers image quality without compression artifacts and colors that are true to the source material. At 60fps, according to its makers, LIQUID allows for smoother operation than Apple's own AirPlay technology which offers only half the refresh rate. Now its makers have launched a version for the iPhone, aptly called Astropad Mini. Like the iPad version, the new app allows you to use your Apple device as a graphics tablet when working with imaging applications such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom using Astropad's LIQUID technology for communication with the Mac.

The original Astropad app, which allows you to link an iPad with a Mac computer and use it as a graphics tablet, was launched back in February.
