When visiting Hutchinson Park, check out South Union Township's new bike rental system. Each pavilion includes electricity and plenty of picnic tables for your next social gathering. Pavilion #4 is located on the soccer field. Pavilion #3 is the smaller pavilion located by the playground. Pavilion #2 is the big pavilion located by the playground. Three of the pavilions are available to rent: pavilion numbers 2, 3, and 4. Pavilions at Hutchinson Park are available for rent at $50.00/day for South Union Township residents and $100.00/day for those living outside the Township. The park also includes two concession stands, four lighted baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, a basketball court, seven pavilions, a playground and a ¾ mile walking/jogging path. This 32 acre park encompasses large-scale activities such as little league and teener league baseball as well as soccer leagues. South Union Township Community Park is located in the Hutchinson area. It's a great example of a close knit neighborhood joining together to have fun and enjoy a special time together. One of the most popular park attractions is the annual Areford Neighborhood Block Party. Areford Community Park includes tennis courts, two all-purpose baseball/soccer/football fields, a concession stand, and a half-mile walking & jogging path. This park offers one of the most modern playgrounds in Southwestern PA. Areford Community Park is quietly nestled in the western portion of South Union Township near the communities of Areford, Jamison, and Continental.
